Akanksha is the founder and curator of Art Throng. After studying art history in Madrid and Mumbai she worked with different museums and contemporary art galleries in Spain and India . Ranging from Guild art Gallery, Studio X in Mumbai and Museo del Prado in Madrid. She then went to work as a liaisons manager and art dealer for selective galleries at Arco Madrid. She also especializes in data analytics and has worked with small businesses to evaluate what should be the steps for their growth through data. Worked as an analyst for the India Premier league now specialising in football analytics for revamping third division Spanish league teams.
She has also been selected to be a part of the prestigious scholarship programme of Fabrica , the communication research centre of Venetton in Italy. During her time as a Fabricante, she worked closely with sound, design and editorial departments of Fabrica . Producing original soundtracks and conceptualizing campaigns for different projects and brands like Bvlgari and the UN during the one year .
With a wide experience in the international art market, she decided to start Art Throng to make art and interiors accessible to all.
Varsha has worked for Venus Films as a producer, been the Sales growth manager Goenka Diamonds and been a part of the Buy my time – Auction house.
Having global consultancy experience spanning from India, China, Spain, UK & Hong Kong. Currently headquartered with a team of digital nomads in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, in Fuerteventura where we are working on launching some of Europe’s coolest start-ups. She is the business and growth manager of Art Throng.
Abhinit Khanna is our inhouse Curator and Consultant. As a creative arts manager, he has worked with leaders across industries including art, campaigns, fashion, publishing, sustainability, cultural and social entrepreneurship.
In the past he has worked with Jitish Kallat Studio and project managed and consulted the largest public art program at Mumbai’s International Airport which was curated by Rajeev Sethi Scenographers Pvt Ltd. Other important project includes, the French Embassy in New Delhi for Bonjour India! (Festival of France in India) managing the visual arts travelling exhibitions titled France Heritage and Video Galaxy. Abhinit was recently awarded the ATSA Fellowship for 2019-2020.
